Dear Sir or Madam,

Why should not sell the company?

We are very pleased in to with you our opinion and a possible solution with respect to our opposition to the board of trustees selling the chocolate factory of our town.

You have to remember that last July the board of trustees announced their plan to sell the chocolate factory to one of its competitors.

We all know that Mr Hershey built the school and that the interest generated by Hershey's $5.6bn gift is enough to finance the school. Another important point is that the tourists visit the town because of the 'magic' created by its image of "chocolate town".

It's important you understand that the buyers may cut jobs and this will be an economic disaster for the town because many people are not from the town and they don't understand that we the residents are protecting a "way of life".

Surely you can see our worry of this situation and we hope that you are in agreement.

Thank you for taking the time to read our reasons. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need further information.

Yours faithfully,
Isabel Cruz

My Reflections Of The Last Week

In the last week we studied the unit 12, I learned more important vocabulary for the business for example: charity, lobby, boycott, demostration, petition, subsidy and others words.

Also I learned to use the gerund (ing) and the infinitive (to + verb), besides with the explanation that you gave and the examples it was easy to understand.

Also I like when we did the dynamics of complete the phrases.
